I just noticed a $1.00 "tickle charge" on my debit account, which was returned a day later. These #1.00 charges are just the scammers way of telling if you have an open account w/a positive balance. It also means that more charges are about to be made. The best defense is to transfer all funds to savings and cancel debit card in the mean time. There will be a charge, but may save $30-$50 going to a scammer. Weird things have happened to my account ever since I joined some survey companies to make extra money. Somewhere in the small print was an authorization to charge me for a credit scores from GLD Scores. Surveys have cost me more time and money than I've made from them... Be careful!
