I spoke with someone from Goldster.com prior to sending in my jewelry (the only time I was able to reach someone via phone) and was told that the diamond value would also be included in the payout amount. Per their company policy: "There is no obligation to accept our cash for gold offer. If you decide not to accept, we will send you your items back free of charge.in addition, if you originally accept payment and then decide to keep your cash for gold items, you can return our check within ten days and we will return your items to you free of charge."

I received a payment of $50 and returned it with a letter of refusal requesting my jewelry back. At that time, not a single piece should have been lost, I returned the payout check and requested my items within 5 business days of receiving the check via USPS with delivery confirmation.

My jewelry was never received. Trent has never paid me the $8000, and refuses to, stating that the amount is "astronomical." He has stated to me when offering ridiculously low "melt value" payouts, "I have been very fair and feel I am being taken advantage of at this point."

This is not, never has been, and never will be, a "melt value" case. I requested my original items back within the time frame allotted by his company policy and by his own policy I should have received those same original items back: "After we receive the check, we will return your original, cash for gold items right away."
