I worked an event for Trade Show Hostesses (which also goes by the name Indy Models, Statement Models and 1st Place Models) from March 25-27 in SF. I worked for 3 days every single hour that was in my contract, and am owed $660. I have not been paid, nor any of the other 14 girls who worked the event. Our contract is officially breached.
If you do a search online of any of those company names you will find many many reports of this company not paying its models. You will find many reports of this company sending emails from fake names (Erin Darlage is the one used for our event).
In fact, I hate to even call it a company as it appears just one person runs it - Roger Allen Knauer of Indianapolis, IN.
I have a spreadsheet of over 45 people who worked for him over the years and have not been paid. I'm in the process of going after him legally and with the labor board.
Do not work for any of the companies listed. You will either never get paid or are getting yourself into a legal situation that requires a lot of time and research. Luckily I have the time on my hands.
