Sickening feng shui rice crackers made in red china — the latest chinese-made food import outrage!

I went to a popular discount store and I bought some rice crackers.
They looked like Japanese rice crackers always look.

I bought them Thursday, July 24 at 3:09: 13 PM CDT.

The store bar code on the rice cookies was 114003962 and it was the same on both packages even though they were different flavors.

The number stamped on the package of the Hot Wasabi Rice Crackers was 10115 and the bar code on it was 4122483510.

I bought an "Original" flavor of the same brand of rice crackers but do not have the package in front of me. It had paprika in it.

Also, there is a U in a circle near the bottom left of the front of the package which indicates that the product is kosher and has been certified as kosher —but I can not find the names of the Rabbis or the group of rabbis who certified it anywhere on the package. When a product has been certified as kosher, it means that observant Jews can eat it. It also should have been indicated whether or not the product was pareve which means it can be eaten with meat OR dairy products OR that it is Kosher dairy which means it IS a dairy product (check to see a bottle of Starbucks Frappucino to see a Kosher dairy product seal.) and has to be consumed only with other dairy products.

It looks like Japanese rice crackers that I consumed so I bought two packs for $1.20 each.

I tried the Original flavor first but they tasted very bitter &much more bitter than they have ever tasted before. They tasted like the smell of rancid, stagnant water and there was a strong aftertaste of FISH even though fish was not listed as an ingredient in the crackers and there was something like a fish scale in it which I spit out. Those were the long white crackers. There were smaller rice crackers that resembled large popped popcorn pieces that were orange. They made my throat swell up so I stopped eating them and then I threw up. I dumped them out. I figured I just got a bad batch. I had severe headaches and everything else that goes with a great case of food poisoning: Stomach cramps, several rolls of toilet paper, throwing up every 30-45 minutes and in between, running a temperature, etc..

The next day, I thought I would try the Hot Wasabi Rice Crackers made by the same company.

They tasted GREAT and the wasabi was nice and hot — UNTIL I bit into one that burned much more than the usual horseradish! It was INTOLERABLE and when it made me throw up, it smelled like varnish and some sort of acid. I still have the horrible aftertaste in my mouth and my stomach has swollen up in addtion to my throat. The aftertaste was much more bitter than just horseradish along and my throat is STILL burning.

The though occurs that they could have covered up ANYTHING with the hot wasabi flavor —even RAT POISON IF any had been in there.

I had to get someone to help me read the back of the package to see WHERE THE HELL THESE SICKENING RICE CRACKERS WERE MADE AND IT TURNS OUT IT WAS NOT EVEN MADE IN JAPAN, THE UNITED STATES OR ANYWHERE BUT CHINA!

Not only that, it says on the back of the package that it was PACKED EXCLUSIVELY FOR AMERICAN ROLAND FOOD CORP.

Which means it was only DISTRIBUTED here and I don't think they have many ORTHODOX JEWISH RABBIS IN CHINA to check the product at their plant and certify if it really was KOSHER or not and if it was —was it pareve or was it dairy?!

The fact that this product seemed to maliciously targeted to Jews makes me wonder just what is going on here.

So you better check your rice crackers and make sure they are not made in china.

If i had known that this had been made in china, i would never have bought it! I think they might be unsafe to eat based on my recent experiences with these rice crackers from hell.

I have sent an e-mail to Roland Foods about this disgusting product.

I don't want anybody else to get sick eating this! I am also going to e-mail the store where I bought these.

Eat these at your own risk!

No i do not think they were kosher either!

I am thinking about sending the uneaten batch to the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta, GA.
