Since May I have had problems with Comcast Phone services. Lost calls and could not remove unwanted phone messages. I call several times into Comcast and was switch over to tech. Support. Every time they could not and did not resolve the problems. After that, Comcast discontinued sending me my billing statements. They are required, to only send me my bill by Mail Only. I made the June payment on May 30th.
Because of the lost calls and bad messages (Mostly form collectors trying to reach a Amira Thompson) Not for me. I switch my phone service and TV services to other companies, on June 20th. My phone New phone service Carrier Basic Talk said that I can keep my old number, that it was available. I agreed to that terms and they excepted my payment at that time. I was not able to hook up my phone service with Basic Talk until July 4th. Because Basic Talk Phone Modem did not arrive until late (UPS) on the 3rd. I hooked up the modem on the 4th of July. I then called my regular phone number (Personal Information Removed) and a woman, I believe it is the same Amira Thompson, collectors are looking for. She answer and then told me that she has had my phone number since April. I believe that is why, I'm receiving the collection calls, not getting my calls from friends and others and the bad and non-removable messages. Gerald A Schole
