Commercial Health Network
Ripoff

In July I recieved a call from a Andrew Preston, describing a health policy that would cover my co-payments on my medical and dental, vision and priscription drugs. The kit would include membership cards that I could use at the time I recieved them. As a thank you, he quarenteed me a credit card with a limit of $2,000.00. The cost of this program was $299.00, to be taken out of my checking account. Which was done on August 4.

I called the toll free number 14 days later to see what was going on with my kit and where it was. Only to be told that the company was in Florida, and was putting things together after the hurricans. I gave them another week as per requested by the party that answered the phone. Only to be told that they were working on orders from June and I would have to be patient, mine was going to be coming out shortly.

I then called on the average of 3 times a week, and asked how many other people had they scamed $299.00 from and that I would be contacting the Florida State Attorney General and the BBB, along with the Minnesota State Attorney General's office and BBB. I was then asked not to be hasty and was finally given a Fed Ex tracking number, and told I should call it and would know when my kit was on it's way. I called the tracking number 5 days a week and continued to call their toll free number.

I was told the kits were being revamped and would be on their way, mine was in the next ship out. When I finally did get a location on the kit, it was at the Fed Ex ground location in Phoenix, AZ. My kit arrived the end of the first week of September, I was shocked to see that it was shipped out of Las Vegas, NV. When I opened the kit all that was in it was 4 pieces of paper; one was an enrollment form requesting the amount of $19.95 to upgrade my membership, an enrollment form for perscription discount card, an advertisment for a loadable Mastercard to the sum of $5,000.00 and an ad for Best Cash Advance.

There were no membership cards, no credit card with a limit of $2,000.00. I then called the toll free number and asked what I had to do to get a refund and was told it was non-refundable.
