I put a sofa bed on sale on craigslist for $200 and this buyer said he wanted it and would give me an extra $50 to hold it for him. He said he would send a check in the mail and once it was cleared, someone would pick it up. I asked them to send cash or a cashiers check and they sent me a company check from Stratasys Inc. For $2,150. Wells Fargo was the bank on the name on the check. Mesha Victor sent the FEDEX overnight envelope from:

I sent a text to the buyer (773) 270-3273 that the check arrived. A Few days later, he said to deposit it in my account and the overage balance to be sent to:

This sounded like a scam, so of course I didn't send any money back.
