After seeing the same add for a trial free skin care product regarding a city near me, every time I was on a particular work site, I finally caved in and clicked on it. I did not see any disclosure statement or any other indication that there was only a 14 day trial period but that you would be billed for the full 30 days.
I only discovered the charge because my credit card was declined when trying to make a purchase and I knew I hadn't charged that much to put me anywhere near my limit. The credit card company put me through to Alore's "customer service" after a lengthy delay I spoke with an incredibly rude gentleman who kept claiming he couldn't hear me and when asked to repeat the customer service number I was told he'd already repeated it and he wasn't going to again. I was no more successful when I tried to call back. I was told there are no refunds and they don't send out any information when they send the product but the add I had previously gone to is no where to be seen. There is no info on the confirmed order sheet for the trial either. What a rip off, I am so angry with myself for letting myself be scammed and having to pay for something I don't want especially at the price I ended up paying for it. At least I was told that I wouldn't continue to be charged. I feel I have to change my credit card now, who knows what else this company does.
