I was a member of Paltalk for about a week and decided that I wanted to give a gift subscription (A Blue Nickname) to a dear friend of a years worth of no ad's and unlimited cam services. Within 2 days of taking my money off a prepaid debit card I was banned and kicked off the site. I sent a request for reason and I received a email back saying I was using a fraudulent credit card, and they needed my Gov issue ID and a copy of the credit card, front and back. I called them 6 times and left messages before some snotty agitated woman finally answered the phone 2 days later who explained I was under investigation by not only PT but the FBI now, as my using a pre-paid card alerted the fraud department of such places as PT Fraud and the FBI. She said she had my address and my phone number so there should not be a problem sending a copy of the card along with the State Issue ID, just to confirm and if I didn't, that was another red flag showing the card is not mine. She said I was banned from ever coming back on Paltalk again until I did as told. My Bank says its a SCAM. Paltalk says my money was refunded 2 days ago but the bank says it has not.
