On January 7th two well spoken earnest young people came to my door and told me their story and offered magazine subscriptions. I ordered 3 magazines, as belated holiday gifts, one for my 11 year old son.
After 3 months of waiting for my magazines, I called Opportunity Sales and spoke to Lisa. She assured me she would look into the issues after telling me the company did not carry the magazines I ordered.
The next month I reached Jennifer, told her the story and she assured me she would speak to the owner and get my money reimbursed.
The next time I reached Jennifer, I was told the check was in the mail.
On June 3rd, after leaving several messages and repeatedly calling for half an hour or so, Jennifer picked up and told me a check had been cut and she would need to call the bank to make a stop payment and then reissue the check.
Really? I have continued to leave messages with all the information requested and have told them that I probably need to have a lawyer get involved now.
What else can I do? This is pure fraud plain and simple.
