Consumer Report

I purchased a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica from this company on Dec. 10, I was given a 2 month warranty, which within those two months there were signs of mechanical problems. We took it back to them and they replaced the fuel pumps on the car, but that did not solve the problems, we kept taking it back to them while the warranty assisted but they kept telling us that there wasn't a problem. I now understand why I recieved limited service the mechanic that was diaginoising the problems is the owner of the car lot, which makes it so unfair.in the 5 months that I have had this vehicle I have had it in the shop more than in use to us, they tried to make a big deal about the 11,000 miles that we placed on the car what do that have to do with anything is this all the miledge this car suppose to give us. What hurts so much is that I just got my credit fixed to where I was able to purchase a, I thought decent transportation. First the fuel pumps went out second the flex pipe went got a hole in it, and then my transfer case exploded and caught on fire with my baby girl in it. I could have lost my 17 yr. Old child in that car, she had the car then. The car also left me stranded twice which I had to have towed. All of these problems was brought to their attention while under warranty But was told it was nothing. Once the warranty was gone all of a sudden they started detecting the problems I just don't understand how people in such a business gets to get away with this. I know that they would not have their mother, wife, husband or child driving in a hazardous vehicle like that. No they don't have to because they can afford a new one through our money. My Credit Union paid they straight out in a check over 8,000.00 with no problem. Now back in the shop again with 1,700.00 dollars worth of damage again, I am now unable to pay my bills due to the credit union having to take all the money I had in the bank to have this done. This is a real place for me. Something must be done to these used car dealers < it seems as if the law protects them more than the consumer> the law must change what could i have done if my daughter have died in this explosion and fire of my car.
