Like so many others, I was deceived into thinking I was on the USPS web site (used USPS patented trademark several times). I filled out what I thought was a temporary change of address for $1.00. Entered my credit card information (stupid of me) and never did get a confirmation e-mail of the transaction or any explanation of cost. I had done this same mail forwarding several times before so felt comfortable with what I was doing. Shortly therefore found a $19.95 charge on my credit card, out of Springboro.
I tried to cancel with USPS but of course they tell me 3rd parties are oftentimes used by the USPS to forward their mail. Called Jasmine (Ace #TVIVNO) at 800-275-8777. So I filed a complaint with the USPS and also my bank and my bank kindly credited my account but for $18.95 since they thought I needed to pay $1.00 for the actual service. Something must be done about these scams. I tried calling the number associated with changemyaddress.com 937-654-9093 and twice received a mailbox full message. What a joke that is. I tried to cancel my confirmation code based on my order with no success. This scam needs to be shut down!
