I was issued a letter for the same amount as all the other notices on this company. 1200.00 upfront and I have to buy stuff and fill out some survey materials. The company is located in Canada, has a check drawn off a bank in Minnesota, but has a return address for NY. It is not that strong of an effort and its not really very clear to me just what this company is achieving by doing this. Checks to people where there are no funds for them? Why even bother spending the money to send out these notices? What's the angle? Makes no sense to me. Seems they spend close to a dollar per piece of mail in the end. And for what?
