To Deny Accept Debit/Credit Card

I paid $36.00 for 2 packs of hair color.
But they said they can't not take any debit/credit card because that item is on sale. Even if I asked charge me debit transaction fee.

So I paid cash but it really doesn't make any sense certain items just for cash
