On 4/15 I purchased a 4 year, 120,000 mile Repair Warranty for my 2008 Mercury Mariner for a total of $1459.06 ($295 Down & $68.47 per Month for 17 Months). On 7/28 while going through my bookmarks, I saw that ZingAuto.com was no longer in business and the domain name was for sale. I then called the number provided (866-680-4114) and was welcomed to Zing Auto Coverage by a recording and was given a choice of prompts. Upon choosing options 1,3, &4 I was told that I would be matched with the next available agent. It then rang and told me that I reached an inactive number. Option 2 for Roadside Assistance connected me with a representative that worked with multiple warranty companies and was told they had no information about Zing. Upon trying to reach the owner Cody Wray at his direct line (972-635-5338), I reached a line that was not in service. There is a Cody Wray around Dallas that was connected with Zing Auto Coverage but I can not get more information.
I wish that I had seen this earlier to hook up with others to attempt to MAKE THEM PAY. I had already filed complaints with the FTC, Texas Attorney General, and BBB but so far no one has helped in going on 2 years.
