Called me on cell. Claimed:
1. CLSID was stolen and going to result in Microsoft blocking my computer from being used on the Internet. (A lie) -that my CLSID was then modified from the original making my OS not updatable (A lie).
2. My email address was stolen and being used by at least 10 other people (A lie)
3. My computer had a virus that could not be stopped by my firewall/antivirus software. (They made it appear so, but how would a random person from India know this and have my phone number - unless they put the virus there to begin with?)
4. The technician uninstalled my Antivirus software (high quality) and installed AVG, a very poor antivirus software that would allow them easy access to the computer after the fact.
5. They modified my OS to allow used by third party spyware (I will not say more here). The bottom line is that technician hacked the operating system for their own purposes.
