I met this person on the web site cupid.com it came through to me on Facebook. I started talking to him on March 27. He said he was a fashion designer and that he was going to have two show coming up soon and that he had a decision to make on what fabric to use and from what country he would get it. He chose a fabric from Africa and said since he had been ripped off before by people that he had to go there to see and bring home the fabrics. He then scheduled a flight, and went. When he arrived he said he had forgotten to call the discovery card company and that this was the only card he used and it was now blocked because they thought it had been stolen, and asked if I could help him transfer his money from an account in the UK that he had millions in but he just wanted to transfer 58000.00 the amount for the fabric, I said I would try, so while he was on the phone telling me what to do I was on my computer doing it and it would not work everything did except the changing of the amount, I could not change that and I told him and he said we have no chose transfer the whole amount, which was 11,000000.00. I did that. Then he gave me a number for the banker in the UK for me to speak to him, and I did after several conversations with him he said he could not release the fund of that amount unless Michael was in the bank in the US with the banker at the time of transfer, but Michael needed the money to pay the manufactured product. Michael told me he had someone who he had loaned money to and that they were going to send 10,0000 to me to send to him this never came. All the while I was sending money to him to keep him going until his flight. His flight was set for the 18th to return. He goes to the airport the 18th and went through customs and got arrested, he said for breach of promise, the jailer called me told me he was in jail and the fine was 700.00 so I went to one of my friends and he loaned me the money. The policeman from the jail went to the wiring location and picked up the money. After he gets out of jail he goes to the airport only to find out that his visa has expired and there is a fine of 525.00 to take care of that so I went to my sister and she loaned me the money. The first night he said he stayed at the airport in case he could get a flight, but didn't the next knight he got a flight for the next day but he said he was to stay at the cops house who he had befriended from the jail, well on his way to the friends house his cab got in an accident and he was knock unconscious, the cop from the jail called me to tell me Michael's new problem. It was days before I heard anything and when I did it was Michael calling from the hospital telling me that he needed money because the hospital wouldn't help him without money to pay but I had no more and I had borrowed from everyone I knew. So I call the UK embassy and told them of this and they said they would reach the UK embassy in Africa. I gave the cops number to her and she called him, soon the cop called me and said Michael was awake and he was on his way to the hospital, he made the comment that he would be calling me back in a little wile to find out the number to pick up more money I never said I was sending, I didn't say anything we hung up. Michael calls me a little later and sounded like he was sick, said he was awake but needed money for the hospital, I said I have no more money, he ask me why would I do this to him. Later he calls again and said the cop had borrowed money for him and he was able to come home and that he had a flight that night at 9 o clock. About 11 hrs later I get a call from Michael and he's back in Houston. Said he would rest and then be on his way to me I live just out of Lafayette, La. But he didn't have any money so he was going to see that friend that he had loaned money to to get some money, that he had already called him and they were to meet at a restraint in Houston. It went 6 1/2 days before I heard from Michael and I had already called the authorities and made a missing persons report. At that time they told me this sounded like a scam and that they would look into it sense than I have been told by many branches of the police force both in Louisiana and Houston that I was scamed. Michael called me once more after that and it was to tell me that he had met with the guy and afterwards was hi-jacked, after being told by all those police that it was a scam when he said that I broke out into a loud laugh and said you've gotta be kidding me right he say my phone battery is low I call you later and I never heard from him or my money again. I have tried to call his phone it goes straight to voice mail, I even tried to email him, nothing. I would be very grateful if you could help get my family and friend money back, I realize that I made a big mistake and I involved others in it so I feel awful and will have to pay all this money back on a disability income if you can't help catch this dishonest person.
