I was called today by a lady called "Rina White" who took almost 30 minutes of my time explaining me the benefits & insisting me to buy the membership.
I could sense that its a scam as she was very pushy & wanted me to sign up right now. I never heard of Stanford university doing something like this & the benefits she was offering me sounded very silly. Why on earth do I need a concierge service from NY when I am not even in USA, also who needs a certificate for being listed in a directory.
Anyways... I told her I want to visit their website which she agreed to & telling me which links I should visit. She would call me again tomorrow thinking that I will pay for the membership & get scammed. Hard luck lady... Improve your sales pitch.
Most of the links on the website also don't work which should give an indication also.
Guys share this on Linkedin & facebook so your friends don't get scammed
