After making payment arrangements with this so called law firm, I have to date paid 1,520.00 our settlement was for 10 months of regularly scheduled payments totaling $2,550. I authorized them to electronically debit my account each month. After 4 consecutive timely payments, I received a later stating that all future payments would no longer be accepted unless sent in certified funds. This confused me so I immediately called them only to find out that they are sending my account into garnishment. When I asked for documentation as to why they did not accept my payment they simply blame me and say that my bank account was unable to locate. (they've also said that the check came back as a returned check for NSF) I have proof from my bank that the company never even attempted to pull the money note I also have over draft protection. I was promised that I could now pay $50 a week to settle this. Not only was my check garnished this week for 25% before taxes, I have been charged for 777.05 in attorneys and court costs. I have asked for them to drop these fees because I truly believe that they must have punched my account number incorrectly; they refuse. I am a working mother of 4 and we have very little income. I am back to square 1 owing over $2400. Again! Someone needs to consider removing their bar license. They have numerous complaints on BBB and all negative google reviews. I need some serious legal advice, ASAP: (
