On October 24 a representative from GHM Travel telephoned our office stating they represented Coverings Trade Show and they were booking reservations for the upcoming location in Las Vegas.

We told they we had previously stayed at The Dessert Rose Hotel on Duke Ellington and were told they could book that hotel. Subsequent emails show "Dessert Rose" in the subject line of the message. Weeks later we received a contract, signed it and gave our credit card number assuming the reservation was made at the hotel designated in the 'subject line' of the messages.

The first of January when we called The Dessert Rose we were told they had no reservation for us. Upon inspecting the contract closer we saw GHM had booked The GRAND DESSERT.

We called GHM and asked if we could cancel that reservation at The Grand Dessert and reserve at The Dessert Rose. We had shipped our exhibit materials to The Dessert Rose.

Not trusting GHM to get it right, we called The Dessert Rose and made our own reservation. We also called The Grand Dessert and told them of the mix-up and cancelled that reservation four days before the check in date.

GHM insists we pay THEM $1755 for fourteen nights at the Grand Dessert when we didn't stay there.

GHM misled us by stating they represented Coverings trade show, made the reservation at the wrong hotel and refuses to refund our money.

The Wyndham Grand Dessert has been gracious but they didn't receive our money and thus can't issue a refund.
