I purchased the decision packet, which was worthless. Then started doing research at consumer complaints and elsewhere. Despite the advertising that they are selective about who they work with, I was called immediately after receiving the package and pressed to set up an appointment to discuss the program.
I will call at the appointed time and decline the offer:
- Herbalife is garbage. We lost a good friend who we purchased this stuff from in the past
- the 11/24/04 fine to the company by the Canadian Competition Bureau for running a pyramid scam that specifically named the two womem in the information packet video.
- nothing in the decision packet about start-up costs, what the product is, success/failure rates etc. How can you make a decision about an investment without this information?
- that this is a pyramid. Lost another friend that worked for Amway.
I'm sure people can make money at this, working long hours, not being afraid to screw friends and family, and by recruiting others to do the work. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night.
