A salesperson called and asked me to sign up for online advertising. They first represented themselves as being from Yellow Pages, but after being questioned, it was known that they were from a different company. I made it very clear that I didnt want to call to cancel when the 60 day trial was up because I was very busy at that time of year and I didnt want to have to remember. And that I really didnt want to service in the first place, but decided to take the 60 days free (my mistake). I forgot to cancel like I knew I would and they billed me, but I dont remember getting the bill. The call I got was from collections asking for payment of the bill. She told my receptionist that the bill was late and that I had spoken with someone that she named by name from the real Yellow Pages. Keep in mind that these are two different companies. I questioned her when I called back about how she knew the name of my representative from the other company and she denied ever mentioning that person. Somehow she found out the name of my rep and when we had talked. Sounds very unscrupulous to me. I will pay the bill because I pay my bills, but I told her I never wanted to hear from them again.
