I recently bought a Sleep Number bed at a company store. They promoted a guarantee that you could return the bed within 45 days and pay only the set up fees. I purchased a “limited edition” and did not find it comfortable. When I inquired about returning the item I was informed that the guarantee did not cover “limited editions” and was clearly stated in small print on my receipt. The sales people did not indicate verbally that it was not covered by their guarantee. Granted I should read all the fine print on the receipt after I purchased the bed. However, it strikes me that it is a little misleading to disclose this information after I purchased the bed on the receipt.
