When I agreed to DISH Network, I was informed that I would be charged $48.95 for 12 months, including a $20 monthly credit. Never never varied during the initial 12 months, regardless of other charges. Once the initial 12 month period was completed, as agreed, Dish immediately increased the rate more than the $20 increase, going as much as $28 more (to nearly $78). When I called to complain, they said that 'taxes had increased. It is interesting, that in the era of perpetually increasing taxes, they charged exactly what I agreed for the first 12 months. I have now paid approximately $15 more that the agreed rate, and I am obligated to pay the rate (apparently whatever rate they choose), for the 6 months remaining on my agreement. I would choose to terminate this 'bait and switch' deal, and secure another provider. Please advise...
