I had just got out of rehab for my foot, and received a call from Mediben. I thought they said Medicare and they asked me for my personal check information. I thought it was about a bill. I gave them my checking account number without thinking. My daughter called me and I told her about the phone call and she went and changed my banking account. It was too late to close because my pension check was coming in. I only get 475.00 for a pension check and it was completely comprised by MEDIBEN. I am hoping to get the returned amount from the bank but I am not holding my breath.
