Received letter in mail with Check for 995.00 with instructions to call 18668567983 or 13106341187 (this number voice mail with mail box always full). Notice was scam because letter postage from Canada, Return address on letter CA, Bank in Ohio with company address on check Missouri. Called just to see what was all about. Was told by Ray Martin to go put check in my bank then go to Walmart and get money pak. I was suppose to evaluate sales person. When I asked any questions on what to do after it was purchased was told I had to call back when money was in bank. I asked many questions with no explaintion on to call back when money in bank and they would explain. When as if this was a scam I got hung up on. When I tried to call back got recording that number no longer worked but if I stayed on there longer after recording Ray Martin's voice mail came on. I called BBB, Tyler and Van Police, Tyler's paper, K-moo radio station to get word out. I live in Van but was told by mr. Martin that these letters were sent out through out the Dallas, Tyler cities, and Gray, Smith and Van Zandt County and was a ligitiment company. I did call Key Bank NA on 4269 Fulton RD in Cleveland, OH 44144 to report the scam to there fradulant department. Other Name Company went by (on the check they sent) Preier Taxes, Inc. Tyler paper Kenneh Dean news reporter stated he called company and has changed their name again to Universal (something) I cant remember what he said they called themself now. Was instructed to also let your department know of this scam. The BBB of Tyler said many people have gotten burned by putting the check in their account. Thank you for your work in this matter.
