We were in litigation w/our former bank during which time they filed for bankruptcy. A year later ocwen said they were servicing the note. We asked for the noteholder, by certified mail, and they refused to tell us. We asked for the loan documents they had showing their interest in our home, the documents they sent were completely wrong! Wrong interest, wrong balance, everything. They have no recorded assignment of mortgage on our home, no valid proof of any kind. When we informed them of this, they "wrote" off the home, destroying our credit. We complained about the "write off" because they cannot prove we owe them ANYTHING, so now they've listed the debt as open again. Wtf
