This actually happened 3/13, I originally joined on 11/05 as a "black card" member thinking I could bring a friend or family member as a guest, as it turned out they all "about 10" joined. Me not using the other amenities #tanning etc.# I decided to drop down to a regular member which I was told all I had to do was advise the staff. On 3/13 I did just that, I was not told that this would cost me an extra $39.78 by the assistant manager TJ it was a penalty for breaking my twelve month contract, so I paid it thinking I would pay $10.00 a month from then on WRONG five days later I was billed the black card charge. I complained but got a run around.
I am talking about your North Phnx {moon valley) location in Arizona. Saying that I would like to point out that there is a La Fitness
down the block and for $20.00 a month they offer a pool and racket ball courts plus aerobic classes and plenty of work out equipment. If I don't get any consolation from this I am sure my friends and myself would not have a problem driving down the block. Plus anyone else I tell my situation to.
