On 3/13 I attempted to place an order for a "free trial" of a tooth whitening system from this company. I didn't think that the transaction had even gone through. To my surprise, not only did the "free trial" arrive a couple of days ago but along with it was another sealed packet, which I have subsequently been charged $92.13 for. When I called the company I was told that the 8 day trial period begins when the order is placed! Ridiculous!!! Especially since I never thought the order WAS placed. Customer service 800 number appears to be manned in India. I was actually hung up on once and the phone rang and rang and rang (for more than 10 minutes) on the 2nd call before being disconnected. Third call finally went through (after ringing for a very long time) but young man I spoke with said he was the "supervisor" and that there was no one above him that I could speak to. Would not reverse the charge for $92.13 that was charged today (8 days from the date I tried to place the order). Even though their web site clearly states that product can be returned for credit, he said this was not possible.
Total scam!
