They did the same to me. Said could get me loan, needed debit card details for ID purposes, I was inundated with pay day loan applications (which I could have done myself) straight away I emailed - could not ring as number blocked - and told them I wanted to cancel and not to use my debit card. Today £69.95 has been taken from my account.
