Someone contacted me over a month ago saying I was selected to receive a $100 gift card to target. They said their company was the Smart Shoppers Saving Club. They told me I had to pay $3.95 and would revieve this gift card and a ten day trail period. After getting off the phone I looked at my account and they charged me $63 something. I called my bank and changed my account and that transaction voided. Since then they have been trying to get my to pay lots more. I just received a bill for $707.85, after telling them multiple times to cancel my account. I have also done some research and see that this is a scam so what I am wondering now is how do I stop it and could it affect my credit? I have never had to deal with a scam before so I am completely lost.
