In early Dec. 2012 I received a phone call from the above name. Personally, from a Dr. Penny Chan.
(Psychologist) I told her about all my previous Internet problems, scams etc. So all I wanted was to be educated about the Internet. She replied that she would highly recommend me to the board for a grant, but that they would not even consider it without a $500.00 deposit. I sent it thinking she was going to get me a GRANT. The next thing that arrived was a loan form from Monterey Financial Services in L.A.
Finally it was done and one day a mentor called me and said he had been appointed as my mentor.
He said next. Wed. At 9AM we would have the first lesson. He didn't sound too bright. The next Wed. He called and talked for about 10 min. Then he had to go to the next client. I was
having a problem getting a picture in my ad, so we discussed it for 3 wks. Solved nothing. A couple of wks. Later he said that the tutoring was over and if I needed anything I could phone him. I said "Even without me having one ad in Ebay?" He said we solved that, last call. We did
not and I still don't have an ad in Ebay. I was supposed to be taught how to be a power seller. I wasn't taught anything at all. I emailed mgmt. With details and they didn't even reply. When I checked again their email address was gone. I have paid 2 payments and the $500 and still owe for two yrs. It was made clear that this was a nonbreakable contract.
