Consumer Report

I attended Dean's free seminar in Torrance, CA. After the promiss of having financial backing for all the deals I wanted to do up to $500,000.00 for every deal, I was completely sold. I took my sister with me to the three day conference Held at the Westin in Long Beach, CA. My sister had no clue on my intentions to get into real estate, but I thought we could both benefit from the information plus her admittion was free. When my sister saw it was Dean Grazioso, she was very upset. She had read all the negative stories about Dean and his group and how often he changes the names of his companies. I really wanted to give the program the benefit of doubt because it was money back guaranteed after the first deal. I had nothing to loose. After the first day, I had convinced my sister it was a great program. Both of us were making plans and setting our sights on some lofty goals.By the end of the second day, I got a funny fealing that all the consultants were just actors. Darrin Knowles supposedly west to Eastbay university in Northern California. My sister being retired from the Cal-state system know the university used to be called Hayward. Darrin Knowles didn't even know where he went to school. Garth Satiu didn't know that his wife was from Fullerton, CA. "Shon Standard", which is not his real name, was my personal consultant had his girlfriend in the room named Jeannine Smith. Not that she reperesented herself as a real estate expert, but found out she was arrested just in January. Then there was the great Deno Fabrizio. Awesome speaker, but when questioned, always reverted to consumer or broke thinking instead of giving facts. When they started the seminar, they concentrated of interity. "The truth will set you free. It may tick you off at first." Well they must all be in prison and they aren't ticked off at all. They all lied the whole weekend. I do believe there are great oppourtunities in real estate, but it is not with this group. This so-called Summit in Las Vegas that happens every month, looks like a bunch of extras doing an informercial. When "Shon" got the bad news that I was not going to part with anymore of my money, he really turned sour. Calling my kidney disease, noise that was clouding my decission to get the advanced training. I left after that crude remark. When it was all said and done, Shon had done exactly what Deno said was a CARDINAL SIN. He justified and blamed something else for loosing a potential client.
