The Straight talk phone comes from WalMart as a website ordered product, or from the Electronics department of the local store. It uses AT&T, Sprint & Verizon to service it's users.
I bought a refurbished phone with 1 month service & the extended warranty, I think it was $37 total, including shipping & tax.
The phone included 1000 minutes of talk time and 1000 receive/reply text messages. (It costs you a message to receive and a message to reply.)
Phone numbers are supposed to have a "dead" period for roll-over, at least 18 months.
This phone has been receiving bogus WalMart $1,000 Gift Card and $100,000. Prize telephone calls.
Are the computer auto dialers THAT sophisticated now, that the instant you have a pay-as-you-go service; that you are INSTANTLY harassed!?
WalMart has to have sold the phone information, or Straight talk sold the information.
Now you buy a phone that you cannot use because the instant it is activated, you get SPAM calls, or scam artists dialing the number.
A phone bought out of necessity becomes useless!!
