I purchased a Louis Vuitton briefcase as a gift for my husband for this past Christmas. The items was not in the store so I ordered it over the phone at their online store. It was ordered 12/19, arrived 12/22, wrapped and given to my husband on 12/25.
My husband did not like it and I returned it to the store 12/26.
The store said it had been "used" and would not take it back. They pointed out some folds in the leather which could have occurred in the packing and shipping.
I said that was impossible and spoke to the manager. She said they would not take it back at the store, however, would send it back to the distribution center.
I was told I could expect a refund within 5 days.
At the end of 5 days, I called the center and they said it would be 10-14 days.
I called and spoke to Mathew and he said it was being processed.
Today, I received a package with form letter letting me know the item was not in returnable condition.
I called their distribution center and they accused me of using the item.
I said no, that was the condition they sold it to me in.
I need help. These guys are crooks, they can't get away with sending me an inferior product that they themselves won't accept.
I have never been treated so poorly and rudely.
