Wyatt-Johnson GMC
Consumer Report

I am in need of some assistance and don't know where else to turn, I am hoping you can help me.
Approximately November 16, I dropped off my 2011 GMC pickup at Wyatt Johnson, Buick GMC dealership, Clarksville, TN due to my check engine light being on. After inspecting my truck, they found several items that were called to my attention that needed to be repaired covered by my truck warranty. The items repaired were a head gasket, oil pan, and transmission gasket due to leaking and other miscellaneous items to repair my truck.
I received my truck back from the Wyatt Johnson on November 27th and was advised that all needed parts had been replaced. However, that afternoon while my son and I, while driving on 101st Airborne Division Parkway, began to smell burning oil. We were not concerned (figuring maybe some oil spilled during the repairs) until approximately five minutes later when the check engine light came on and a digital message displayed "Low oil pressure". The motor stopped at that point and we were forced to call a tow truck to have the vehicle towed to Wyatt Johnson.
The next day, one of the service department employees called me and said that one of the owners of the dealership, Sid Johnson, wanted to talk to me. He advised me that my repairs was not a "dealership issue". Mr. Johnson wanted me to come to the dealership and go on a "test drive" with him taking the EXACT route I had taken the day I picked it up before the oil plug fell out. After we returned to the dealership, Mr. Johnson told me that they refused to fix the oil plug because I had pulled it out myself to damage my truck The factory rep and the Chevy dealer that I consulted afterwards both stated that the dealer who made the initial repairs was responsible, but Sid Johnson has made it very clear that he will take legal action against me if I pursue this matter further.
My insurance company did an investigation and they determined it was an " internal mechanical issue from prior repairs" and there is nothing they can do, it needs to go back to the dealer. I have spoken with a GM representative on several occasions and was told that the case is closed, there is nothing they can do.
I also consulted an attorney, it would cost me $1500.00 (which I do not have), and it would go to an arbitrator, and Wyatt-Johnson would be choosing the arbitrator. This is a no-win situation for me. I have exhausted all my options and do not know where to go from here. All I want is to have my truck fixed by them, nothing more. I am making monthly payments on something I cannot use, and is no fault of mine that it is broken.
I would also like to say that I have been a loyal customer of theirs for some time and also referred many people to them, giving them even more business.

Thank you very much for any help you can provide.
