I emailed Crocs yesterday (1-30-13) because one of the rivits broke on my black adult Crocs that I had bought 10-24-12. Here's their reply: "Unfortunately we no longer provide customers with replacement Rivets as they are thicker and wider than before and can only be placed through our manufacturing process by specialty machinery." I thought I could buy one, but the rivit I need is listed as "out of stock" on their website. So I guess I'll get a Chicago Bolt from Ace Hardware. It won't have the smiling alligator on the rivit, but at least I'll be able to use the strap - which they also do not replace, by the way. Don't get me wrong. I still want Crocs and will buy more in the future. I'm just bummed about this rivit thing.
