I recently went for an interview at this company's (Partners LLC) Seattle office (northstar design). I found the company online at Partnersllc.com. The website was pretty cool and it looked like a good company, but nothing on the site told me what they actually do, so I decided to visit a local office of the company in Seattle for an interview.
I was interviewed by the branch manager Gregg Fergal. He was a very shady character, his office was dark and smelled of marajuana which made me very suspcious of the business, I should of know better at this point but I didn't want to assume anything and I still didn't know what they did even after the 15 minutew interview with gregg, so I decided because I need to make money that I would come back for the second interview Gregg invited me for the next day.
So the next day I went into the office and was teamed up with one of thier sales managers Andrew. He told me we would be out untill 5:30pm (which I had no idea where we were going or what we were doing) but I got in the car anyway. The car was full of artwork, I starting asking Andrew questions but he said he would answer them at lunch. Then we drove south of seattle to Tacoma, where Andrew showed me the job. Which was basically soliting business's door to door. Within the first hour of this madness I told Andrew this was not for me. So he made me take a taxi back to the office in Tukwila which he didn't even pay for and I had to use the last of the money I had just to get back to my car.
What a horrible business, if Gregg the branch manager had just told me that it was door to door sales I would would of declined the job in the first interview. I really wish someone would investigate this business and its legalities, because I don't think the business is operationg legally.
