While watching TV a saw an ad for reusable coffee brewing accessories. I called the phone number shown and started getting voice prompts.
I heard 9.99 for a set and I choose 2, the next prompt promoted a gold covered version an additional $9 and I accepted. The voice advised delivery could take as much as 5 weeks but I do not recall it giving options. This was followed by about 20 minutes of promotional offers for other products to which I did not respond. When the ordeal was over I hung up.
Two days later I received a call seeking to confirm that I had placed an order. I asked if the details of the order could be stated but the agent said that information was not available and I could call a phone whose number I did not hear before she hung up.
To my surprise two two boxes of the products arrived, via FedEx a few days later, not the 5 weeks as I was expecting.
The major surprise was the $75.92 that was charged to my American Express Credit Card. A report was immediately made to AmEx and at the time of the writing the issue was being investigated by the credit card company.
I cannot speak about the quality of the product as have not used them, except that they appear to be as described.
I my opinion this company operates an unscrupulous voice prompt system and in my instance fraudulently overcharged my credit card.
