Checked my bank account to find an unauthorized charge on the account by Stormonwheels.com. Called the bank to see if they could provide me with any information as to the charge since I had not used my debit card in quite some time - called the number they provided me with for Stormonwheels.com. Amazing how the company was able to provide me with all the information regarding the alleged purchase (a car window mount for an Iphone - of which, we do not own one!), my mailing address AND the last 4 digits of my account number! Also had the purchaser as my boyfriend who is not on my account and does not use my card. The only information I provided the individual with when I called was my name and 99% of the time, I have to spell it for them - she didn't even ask. I indicated to her that this was totally a scam and demanded to know how they got the information to process this charge. She simply insisted that she would cancel the order since it had not yet shipped (duh!) and I'd see the credit on my account in 3 days. Called the bank back, canceled that debit card and will be filing a claim against the company. Am sure there will be no credit to my account from them. Thanks for the inconvenience folks... No debit card now thanks to your antics (will be 7-10 days before I see that) and it's the Holiday season - how do people think they can get away with this?!?!?! Thank goodness I'm meticulous about watching my bank account!
