Thank you anonymous poster. I received the same email this past November. Mike Kennedy was asking for a personal assistant. Luckily I'm causious about everything I do. He seemed legit. Wanting me to pick up and drop off Art packages. I agreed to do this and he would pay me $500 a week. When a check arrived for $4,950.00 I immediately knew it was fraud. I had agreed to pick up and drop of packages. He also wanted too much information about the depositing of the check. I called a detective and explained what I had received and he told me that if I deposited the check and mailed the money to the addresses given that when the check bounced, I would be responsible for the money lost. I then googled Mike Kennedy fraud and found your post. I will destroy this check and let as many people know about this before someone else is scammed.
