I purchased from National City Auto Center a 2008 Chrysler Sebring convertible, advertise through cars.com and carsforsale.com. Sales manager Mike accepted my offer on this car, I took the time and money to obtain a loan via Chase banks, overnight ed the check to Mike, who stated he would have the car transported out immediately.
Two days after it was to ship I get a call from Mike to tell me he decided to remove the over sized chrome wheels that were advertised and pictured in the ads and replace them with some stock wheels. He stated there was not enough profit in it for them. Mike stated he had not cashed the check so if I wanted out he would return the check.
I stated, I wanted the car as it was advertised and agreed to. Mike’s statements to me he would check with the owner to see what he could do. Now multiple correspondance and three times he has stated he staed would get back to me with still no resolution. So, simply, with no cooperation from Mike I wrote the owner Tim Mostamandi andhe too, still no retrun correspondance or resolution.
Called my bank to cancell the check, guess what" they cashed the check". Big time cons!!!
Now the bank legal department is involved!
