I went abroad the summer before starting university, when I was 18. My goal in choosing a program was to find something that would best be suited for me and my level of Mandarin. I wanted a challenging program. I choose Next Step China ’s Year-Round Accelerated Tutoring Program because I didn’t want to sit in a classroom all day. With the tutoring program the tutor would come to my apartment and the program was personal. I felt no other company could offer that, except Next Step China. I wish I would have done even earlier, between my junior and senior year of high school!
The apartment Next Step China put me in has been phenomenal and really comfortable and I have actually made it my home here and to say it is my home is very special to me. The location of the apartment is really convenient because it really close to a lot of places to hang out. We were also really close to the Next Step China offices which was great because if there was anything I needed I could contact them 24/7. However, I might have preferred a dorm option to make socializing even easier.
I was really impressed by the professionalism that was involved with the process, if I had any questions they would reply fast. And on-site, the service is excellent! The staff is so friendly if I needed anything they were always there for me. For example if I didn’t know where to go they were just a phone call away.
