3-year contract signed in June for residential dumpster service at $57/mo. Suddenly in 2 years, we are at $108/mo. Not to mention that complaints about service were not attended on a timely basis, extra charges (that were wrong) were not corrected on a timely basis. When I finally sent in a notice to cancel, it took them a month to call me & and that was to offer a rate of $68/mo so I would not leave. First, I wonder why my rate UNDER contract was doubled if they are willing to give me $68/mo. Second, when I opted to just cancel the service, the person calling said that their manager may call to check in, but it sounded like someone was gong to pick the dumpster & he even discussed dates. However, when the manager calls and I am not willing to negotiate on leaving, he suddenly changes his tone, and tells me that he does not want to cause any bad feelings, but he must remind me that I have a signed contract still in effect for another year, and they will enforce it. I asked them to send it to me, and call me back after I review. Contract language is horrible, and we should have read that 2nd page carefully earlier, but don't remember seeing it. I do see the signature on 1st page. All said on the pages about termination is true & you pay for remaining months and more. The drivers are rude, service is absolutely bad, and I consider treatment totally below the bar.
