I've been saving AA and AAA batteries for 3 years (not dumping them in the trash). Today I called Waste Management and they do not collect or have a place to take batteries, except in the trash. Apparently they charge a fee for providing a container to mail the batteries, plus postage. The amount of batteries I would have to mail will cost me $. What HORRIBLE neighbors.
