My husband and I happily answered our door and answered all of the questions that the man had when the "regular" census came around. Months later we get a 28-page book in the mail telling us that we were randomly selected and are required by law to complete it. I purposefully did not answer many of the questions that I am not comfortable answering and did not know the correct answers to. After it was mailed in (on time I might add) the barrage of phone calls started. One call after another; no one seeming to get the idea that we were no interested in responding.

After my children were woken for the second time in two days, I angrily answered the phone to a woman who all but demanded that I answer the remaining questions. I told her that I would answer what I could but I wanted to know that this would be the last time that they would be calling. After 25 minutes of what I would call "harassment" she finished her questions, I reiterated that the Census Bureau was not to call me again and hung up. This evening I get another voicemail and another round of my children being woken up because calls are coming at very inappropriate times (I mean, you KNOW I have two 2 -year olds in the house!). I am so fed up and want this harassment to STOP!
