I was shopping for a pressure washer when I came across the site www.ultimatewasher.com. I called the phone number 866-858-4982 and spoke with a salesman. He gave me the price. I told him I would need to call him back since I already had a price that was better than his. He basically called me a liar. I could not believe how rude he was. I then told him I will give you the website where I found the better price which was www.amazingmachinery.com just to prove to you that you are very wrong. He looked it up on the internet while I sat on the phone.
He came back on the phone line and started to bad mouth the other company. He never apologized, said you are correct, I was wrong or anything. He then stated that he would match their price. I told him that there is no way I would buy from you since you did not give your best price up front. He got really rude at that point. I am very glad that I did not do business with them. I would hate to think how they might act if had a warranty issue.
I went ahead and purchased the washer from Amazing Machinery. They had the most pleasant and helpful person. My washer arrived on time, in great shape and at a great price without gouging.
