My order that should have cost about 20 dollars got magically inflated to nearly double the price. There was no opportunity to review and confirm the order. There was a bunch of upgrade options that are so verbose it is clear in retrospect that they were trying to underhandedly get people to authorize purchasing more than they intended.
Then your order pops up confirmed without any opportunity for review and has no breakdown on what the charges are, there is an "Estimated Total". When you've recovered from your sticker-shock and call to try and cancel your order, they give you this song and dance about how they can't access your order until it uploads next day. However, that is also the same day they are expected to charge you and ship your order.
Rather than take my chances that they would charge me for this obvious scam, I was forced to drop everything, go to the ATM, take out a bunch of cash and call my bank to cancel my debit card. What a nightmare. Run far, far away from this company. They are either completely crooked or completely incompetent. Doesn't matter, the results are the same.
What is really sad it that I was actually interested in their product. If they weren't greedy and stupid enough to try to sell a hunk of plastic for an even higher markup than the ridiculous one they'd get anyway, they'd have had my business. Now they not only get NOTHING, but they've made an enemy out of me for being such a nasty bunch of creeps.
If shooting oneself in the foot is some new form of innovation, then they are real geniuses.
