About two months ago we found two Pomeranians for adoption on the Internet. She stated she moved to Darwin to work and she had these puppies because her father had passed away and couldn't look after the due to her work as a medical doctor, so we accepted one of them. Thinking they were coming from Darwin she told us that all we had to pay was $380 and nothing else to pay which we accepted. We got an email back saying the payment had to be made via western. Union in Cameroon.
More emails started coming asking for more money still thinking that this pup was coming from Darwin they asked for more money for vaccination and health insurance, again we did. They kept phoning us to say she was on here way but there is more you have to pay for permit to be alowed into our country. Once that was paid we received an email that night saying the pup had died from overdose of vaccination that's when we knew something wasn't right. They asked for more money for another dog by this time we reported them, they told us if we didn't pay more money they were going to send someone out here to fix us up threats after threats. And if we didn't pay we would be charged with dog abuse.
We also recieved an email back from the so called owner and told us this pup was not dead and she was still available for adoption. After all this we went to our police and showed them the emails and asked what to do and was informed to get a knew mobile number and to remove my email address which I did. After all that we went on the Internet into this website to find out my identity has being stolen and used as a pet scam and that this person was scammed by me. I went back to the police to see what I could do and the informed me to email this company for it to be removed and the other company to take off my name off the web.
I done tis with little response. My identity has been stolen and it can be only this company and these people we were dealing with as they were the only people whom had all my details. So all of this is identity theft, fraud, criminal, and slander. We were big suckers big time and I don't want to see other people get destroyed like we were. We lost everything we saved for this pup and for people todo this to me I am sick in the stomach. We have informed the police, wcia, FBI and lawyers on what is going on and other websites to avoid this happening to others.
