I too received the following email from Dell 4 days after purchasing the Dell inspiron 14z for $299.99 on their Black Friday online sale 11/23 which was for 3 hours starting at midnight. I had ordered and had confirmation within the first 1/2 hour of the sale. Upon receiving the email from Dell (see below) I called and got through to customer service after a two hour wait and they told me take what was offered or I could have $100. Off any Dell Product. The replacement Dell offered (inspiron 15) has a 4 hour battery life as opposed to the 7 hour battery life for the inspiron 14z and is regularly listed at $399.99.

4 days later I get a bait and switch email:

on that particular deal, the laptop was oversold and we do not have the
supply needed to fulfill all of the orders. We have an alternative,

additional cost to you. The new Inspiron 15 has a larger 15.6 screen
